An IP address is series of numbers that identify devices on a network. It is associated with the access point through which you enter the Internet, and is typically controlled by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
The legal basis is the foundation for processing personal information. Companies need a “legal basis” in order to collect and process your personal information.
The processing is necessary for the PepsiCo’s legitimate interests. This basis requires us to make a balanced judgement between our interests and your rights and freedoms and put in place safeguards to ensure privacy is protected.
Personal information is any piece of information that can be linked to an individual. If we can figure out who you are from that information (including by combining it with other information available to us), it makes it personal data. For example, a person's name, email address and phone number are all clear examples of personal data.
